Flag & Stork

The adoption and biological child birth processes are very different, but there are a few things we have tried to do the same with Joshua as we did with Grace and Jason. One involved flying flags on the day Grace and Jason came home. We did the same for Joshua, but this time we only flew the American flag without the Russian and Moscow flags.

Here's our group shot of the five of us in front of the US flag. This was taken on New Year's Day.


Here's our picture by the Russian flag December 2007 after we brought home Grace. Wendy took it, so she was not in the picture. Ooops. Grace takes up more room in my arm, which is good to see.


And here is Jason's flag picture from May 2006. He has also grown a little since then.


The other tradition is the stork figure from our church. It always has a hard time staying straight because my grass is too thick. Oh well.
