The Next Step in Mailbox Technology...

Joe Elble suggests we try this approach to our mailbox dilemma...I like it! But it is way pricey and too classy for Ab-a-lam-a. Howlin' Mad Murdock and B.A. Baracus could whip something together for much less I bet. Maybe they would take two steel forms of different widths and sandwich them with concrete and steel rebar. Myeah... Myeah... That's the ticket...

Anyway, here's Joe's link. Check it out:

Here's a thread that you might find interesting: http://www.thehighroad.org/archive/index.php/t-1012.html

Yes! Very interesting. The idea to encase with concrete a smaller mailbox inside a larger mailbox is very similar to B.A.'s & Murdoch's reinforced steel technique. Very practical! Great minds think alike!!!!

My personal favorite was the potato truck suspension spring....

Yeah, that's a good one too. Unfortunately, there are not many potato trucks in Ab-a-lam-a...Hmmm...Probably could rig something out of old cotton gin parts though!!!
