Her orphanage is 120 km away, so we have been getting home late in the evening. With traffic, it has taken more than three hours to drive there. So blogging has been light. Things should be more relaxed over the next few days. What am I saying, we have the 8 doctor medical tomorrow.
So, what about Charlie? Charlie has had quite a trip. He has not had a chance to do much sight seeing yet, but he understands that is not the point of of the trip.
He has been a real helper. When we have been tired and weary, which is pretty much non-stop since arrival, he has helped keep the computer going.
After Red Square, we saw the Bolshoi Theater -- which is STILL UNDER RENOVATIONS. Come on people! This is Russia! A great re-emerging power. It takes this long to patch a building?
Finally, he helped calm our nerves as we waited for the nurses to bring Grace to us. He always manages to be calm, collected, and able to keep a smile on his face. Unlike some other people.
I'm glad Charlie made the trip with us. And we are thankful for everyone back home who has emailed us or thought of us while we have been gone. These are NOT easy trips, maybe sometimes the blog betrays that truth, but we truly appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers.
Good night from Moscow. Maybe tomorrow night I can post some more...
