Jason's Second Adoption Day

On Sunday April 27 we celebrated the second anniversary of the court hearing that declared Jason to be our son.

Last year, we celebrated in a Russian way. Wendy made a great Russian themed dinner. It was long and involved and took a lot of work. We even bought a cake from the Russian grocery in Huntsville. Yes, there is a grocery owned by a Russian in Huntsville.

What did we do this year? Well, we took a lazy American cop-out approach. We went to Chucky Cheese! Jason had a good time, but was still a little young for most of the stuff there.

Guess what was his favorite thing?

The Bob the Builder "Scoop" ride. He probably rode that thing eight times.

Grace had a good time on some of the rides. Grace will get to celebrate her adoption day on December 4. Maybe pelmeni and borscht will be back on the menu.

It was definitely a sensory overload experience for all of us. Have we used all the tokens yet, have we???

In the end, it was all about Jason having some fun. He is definitely a go places and do things kind of guy and this fit the bill.
