Florida Trip

A few weeks ago we went to Florida for the week and met Wendy's family down there. During the week we had a couple visits with my Dad and Flo. The weather was great with waves typical Gulf bumps to waist high, but the jelly fish were going strong and limited everyone's time in the water some days. I didn't take many pictures at the beach, but will post a few from the trip.

Here's beach babe Grace. She had a great time and did well despite not being in her usual routine.


Jason spent a lot of time digging and playing in the pool.


On our second visit at my Dad's Jason got to ride a lawn mower. I have a push mower so it was a real treat for him to ride a big lawn mower. When we go to Home Depot he always has to sit on one while we are there.


Flo's Jeep was popular with both Jason and Grace.


During the lawn mower riding Grace and I played in the yard. Grace had a chance at a mower ride, but once she got on she "explained" to us that she really did not want to be on the mower. Here she is enjoying a Gulf breeze.


After Grace passed on a ride, Jason was happy to take her spot.


The next picture may generate controversy. Here's my Dad taking Jason and I for a spin around the block in the Jeep. No, there isn't a car seat. Jason was thrilled...You should have seen the driving in Russia. Nuff' said.


The last night of the trip we went to one of the ride parks that have sprung up over the years. Jason loved the rides especially the airplane.


Grace was able to enjoy the train ride and a couple other slow ones. Only one adult permitted on some of the rides.
