3 Kids in Less than 3 years

If we are feeling a little harried these days, I had a thought. We've brought home children in May 2006, December 2007, and likely December 2008. That's three home comings in about 31 months. Yikes!

We have NO plans to make it four for four next year. Trust me.

In the meantime, we'll have our hands plenty full as evidenced by Grace's latest skills.

For our adoptions we always had to take several pictures of our children's room for our social worker to use in the home study and for the Russian judge to know we would be good parents. There are so many things like that in an adoption we had to do but are totally unrequired now. Why is it that way???? But that's another subject.

We'd hate for J-Rock to be left out, so here's some pictures of some recent work we have done on Jason and Grace's room. If things happened today, we feel good everyone's rooms are in decent enough shape to handle a new addition.

The bunk beds have been split apart so Grace and Jason each have their own bed. In case any body forgets which side they belong we have that marked, too. This arrangement will work for a few years then the boys will share the room.

The above picture is showing Jason and Grace's matching flags. In honor or their adoptions and obtaining US citizenship (legally, too) we had flags flown on the US Capitol building. Jason's was a couple weeks after his homecoming, but Grace's flew on the day she came home. Pretty cool!

Lastly here is a picture of their closet. The old "organizer" was the simple wire shelf/coat hanger combination. It really didn't help with the organization situation at all. We used an online service from the vendor to develop a few plans for purchasing closet organizers. It worked really well and you can see the results.

The kids now have the nicest and most expensive closet in the house.
