Wendy's something-ty birthday...

Wendy's birthday was last Saturday, November 29. We were in Knoxville for the Thanksgiving day weekend and spent time with her family. Last Tuesday we did our own family celebration so that the kids could do something special for Mommy on their own. Here are some pictures.

The kids really enjoyed the M&M cookies.



For the non-baking Dads, Publix makes a mean chocolate cake.


Here are some pictures from Saturday night. Wendy's sister-in-law Crystal's birthday is December 4, so it was a double celebration.

Jason and Grace had a blast hanging out with his cousins.


I think Jason was a little bummed it was not his birthday. He needs to learn it isn't always his birthday. He was also getting over a fever, which may explain his poses in these pictures.


Here's a video of the blowing out of candles. Jason got a slight burn on his cheek from the first candle he blew out, but it is nothing to be concerned about.
