Today is the first anniversary of our court date for Grace's adoption! Because of immigration paperwork and a required 10 day waiting period for the judge's decision to go into effect, we did not get to bring her home until December 23, 2007.
Grace has come a long way in that time. She is still really skinny despite our best efforts otherwise. Her language is emerging better which is great to see. Just about everyone describes her as a genuinely happy child. She definitely likes to have fun and to be active. Jason loves his little sister, too.
We will celebrate tonight by going to dinner at Chic-Fil-A (they have an indoor playground for a chilly rainy day like today) and then we'll drive through the Galaxy of Lights.
