We got the call today telling us when to report for court. Earlier this week we had been notified to apply for our double-entry visas which was a clear sign things were moving forward.
The Russian facilitators have asked for us to arrive on April 22 or April 23. Court will be the week of April 24. Our expected return date is April 28.
What a relief. Getting a court date most of the time means things are a slam-dunk. Some of the last major potential hiccups apparently have not manifested themselves. But you never know so I'll stay a little guarded until the gavel is dropped, so to speak.
With as much as we have been sick lately, we are behind on getting the room ready. Hopefully today and tomorrow we can get a lot of that knocked out. The judge wants to see pictures of the baby room so I guess we have two more weekends to get it done.
When it is done I'll post some pics. For the longest time we didn't do anything with that room. It's still an odd feeling sometimes to go in there and see it finally getting some attention.
