We are going to take a detour from the adoption world to get caught up on our Thanksgiving trip. Wendy, myself, and Jason Alexei rode with Wendy's parents to Wendy's brother's place near Baltimore. Everyone had a good time. The day after Thanksgiving we went into D.C. and I finally got to visit our nation's capital. During the course of the weekend we learned from Lori that we had a court date (our agency did not call Wendy's cell phone as we requested).
Jason really was a trooper in the car. He did very well sitting in his seat and being patient. When we was especially bored, he sang to himself. His favorite songs to sing were "Wheels on the Bus" and a bizarre song about eating a turkey that he learned at Mother's Morning Out.
The Wheels on the Bus is sung in a grunge style as you will see. Riding in the back with Jason is Suzanne, Wendy's sister.
Followed by the Turkey Song. If you desire to sing along, here are the lyrics:
Mr. Turkey, Mr. Turkey
Big and Fat
Big and Fat
I'm gonna eat you...
I'm gonna eat you...
Just like THAT!
Just like THAT!
